The 1984 Dune film by David Lynch is very divisive among fans and Lynch distanced himself from the film in the years after its release. I personally love it and view it more like an elaborate stage play. Kyle MacLachlan's portrayal of Paul Atreides inspired this piece. Paul is presented as a messianic figure and I wanted to lean into this concept. I used copper leafing to create a halo and copper colored glitter to create the background, mimicking the \"spice\" found on the planet of Arrakis. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"ObeyYourClaudia","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":50044078227611,"sku":null,"price":274.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0794\/6561\/1419\/files\/Father_The_Sleeper_Has_Awakened_2025.jpg?v=1793718673","url":"https:\/\/obeyyourclaudia.com\/products\/father-the-sleeper-has-awakened","provider":"ObeyYourClaudia","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
